PUBLISH MODE 0.9.1-beta.1 for macOS - Installation
Free to use. Does not expire. ("beta" describes the development stage, not a time limit.)

Contents: PublishMode.vst3 (VST3), PublishMode.component (Audio Unit), Licenses/, THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md,
SHA256SUMS.txt. Universal: Apple silicon and Intel. macOS 11 or later on Apple silicon, 10.13 or later on Intel.

1. Check the download (optional, recommended): in Terminal, run
     shasum -a 256 PublishMode-0.9.1-beta.1-macOS.zip
and compare it with the checksum on the official download page. Inside the extracted folder,
     shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS.txt
must report OK for every file.
2. Quit your DAW (save your projects first).
3. Copy PublishMode.vst3 to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
Copy PublishMode.component to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ (for Logic, GarageBand and other AU hosts)
(In Finder: Go > Go to Folder... and paste the path. Replace an older Publish Mode if one is there.)
4. Open your DAW and let it scan plug-ins (in Logic, the Audio Unit is validated on first launch).

Security: This build is not signed with an Apple Developer ID and is not notarized. If macOS blocks a Publish Mode file the first time your DAW scans it, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and choose "Open Anyway" for that Publish Mode file only, then scan again. Do not turn off Gatekeeper.

Updating from 0.9.0-beta.1: replace both files as above. Projects and presets keep their settings; because the
processing was improved, the same settings can sound different - listen before a final mix. The old 0.9.0-beta.1 stops
processing after its expiry date, so do not keep it as a fallback.

Uninstall: quit the DAW and delete the two files from the folders above.
