PUBLISH MODE 0.9.1-beta.1 for Windows (x64) - Installation
Free to use. Does not expire. ("beta" describes the development stage, not a time limit.)

Contents: PublishMode.vst3 (VST3 folder), Licenses\, THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md, SHA256SUMS.txt.
Requires Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 x64 Redistributable (already installed on
most computers; if the plug-in does not load, install it from Microsoft's website).

1. Check the download (optional, recommended): in PowerShell, run
     Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 .\PublishMode-0.9.1-beta.1-Windows-x64.zip
and compare it with the checksum on the official download page.
2. Close your DAW (save your projects first).
3. Copy the whole PublishMode.vst3 folder to
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Common\VST3\ (your user only; create the VST3 folder if it does not exist)
or, for all users (needs administrator rights),
     C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
Replace an older Publish Mode if one is there.
4. Open your DAW and re-scan plug-ins. In REAPER: Options > Preferences > Plug-ins > VST, make sure the folder is in
the VST plug-in paths, then click "Re-scan".

Security: The plug-in is not signed with a code-signing certificate, so Windows or your antivirus may warn about it. Check the checksum first. If Windows shows the downloaded zip as blocked, right-click it > Properties > tick "Unblock" before extracting. Do not turn off SmartScreen or Microsoft Defender.

Updating from 0.9.0-beta.1: replace PublishMode.vst3 as above. Projects and presets keep their settings; because the
processing was improved, the same settings can sound different - listen before a final mix. The old 0.9.0-beta.1 stops
processing after its expiry date, so do not keep it as a fallback.

Uninstall: close the DAW, delete the PublishMode.vst3 folder from the folder above and re-scan.
